Reservation of historical monuments Františkovy Lázně belongs to the three world famous spa in the West Bohemia. These ones were founded in 1793. They named after the imperor Franz I., Napoleon´s father-in-law. 21 mineral sources springs here. The most famous of them is František source. Wealth of local curative natural sources, acidulous water, ferrous mud and medicinal gas maintain favourable conditions for treatment of female and cardiovascular disordes, disorders of the motor system. Františkovy Lázně was part of Cheb till 1852 when it became an independent municipality and had given a city emblem. In 1856 spa Františkovy Lázně became a town.

Mariánské Lázně, the younges West Bohemian spa was founded in the early 19th century, in the valley where springs c. 100 healing sources. Only half is used today. On the monastery in Teplá was established settlement called Mariánské Lázně according to picture of st. Maria, hunged by Cross spring. This settlement was proclaimed as a public spa. Spa treatment is established on natural helaing mineral springs with hesitating temperature betwenn 7 - 10°C. They are source of natural acidulous water contents carbon dioxide and metal. These springs are express different in chemist and help cover all kinds of disorders (locomotor system and respiratory diseases,kidney and urinary diseases, metabolic and female disorders). The valley in which is the spa located offers fres air, calm environment, genial silence of forests. Sport activities are following - golf courses, tennis courts, riding horses and possibility of skiing on slopes with ski lifts in the winter. The most famous interesting "Singing fountain" in the New colonnade and MINIATURPARK near hotel "Krakonoš" is favourite visitor´s place.

Karlovy Vary |

Karlovy Vary is the biggest spa in the Czech Republic. Curative sources were discovered in this locality according to old legeng by the Czech king and Romish imperor Charles IV. roughly in 1350. He proclaimed Karlovy Vary as a Royal town. It is the first note about history of this spring town. This wealth is celebrated in festivals by all inihibitants. The Hot spring, springs from 2 000 – 3 000 metres. This spring, which temperatuere extends to 73 °C and wells up to 12 metres hight. Temperature of the others doesn´t descend under the 43 °C. All of the patients with digestive problems and joint pains often locate these curative springs because they treat especially digestive disorders, metabolic diseases and are used to inhalations and baths. In this town are many opportunities for walking on colonnades, parks, forest parks. Cultural and sport activities are expanded. There are golf courses, race-course, riding horses, tennis courts, ice-rink, theatres, picture-galleries, cinemas, concerts. Galore haunted event in the town is Internation Film Festival which history is noted from 1946.
