Horská střediska


 Železná Ruda 
Železná Ruda is located on the borders between Protected landscape area Bohemian Forest and Bohemian Forest National Park, 754 m above sea level, 2 km from the state boundary with Germany. This town has 1 900 inhibitants and is the largest recreation resort of the west Bohemian Forest.

 Harachov 
Harrachov - 686 m above sea level, 1780 inhibitants. Harrachov is one of the most famous sport centres with many ski lifts, downhill slopes and well kept cross-country routes. The top of all important events in Harrachov area World championships in ski-jumps from Harrachov Mammoth ski jump (K180). Before than Harrachov became famous tourist and sport centre in the West Giant Mountains, got famous for glassmakikng abroad.

 Špindlerův mlýn 
Špindlerův Mlýn ( 718 - 1 300 m above sea level) is the most famous centre of winter sports in the Czech Republic. 4 chair lifts and 11 ski lifts have capacity ov 18 000 people per hour, overall lenght of downhill slopes reaches 25 km. Ski area Špindlerův Mlýn isn´t only ski centre, but it´s a paradise for snowboarders. For snowboarding is developed quality snowpark in Svatý Petr and Horní Mísečky. This resort offers 75 km ov cross-country routes, night skiing, enough ski and snowboards schools, bobsleigh tracks and coasting paths, snowtubing, horse riding and ride in carriage, fishing in rapids of Elbe river, tennis, squash, bowling, saunas, fitness centres, massages, solariums, many swimming pools, paragliding, rafting and others adrenaline sports like rock-climbing, bridging, abseiling etc. It is only part of the great offer of leasure time activities. Everybody can finds here the right one for himself. Local restaurants, casinos, bars, discos offer many opportunities to spend wonderful time with friends. Ski area Špindlerův Mlýn was awarded in 2002 by the grade label - "Czech TOP centre" as only one centre in the Czech Republic.

 Pec pod Sněžkou 
Pec pod Sněžkou is known not only as the starting point to the Sněžka, the highest mountain of the Czech Republic, but also as the mountain resort suitable for nice holiday all over the year. Pec pod Sněžkou profits from its sea level (800 - 1602 m) because ther is usually snow cover for 5 - 6 months. Ski area offers 4 chair lifts and 10 ski lifts with transport capacity of 9 630 people per hour, well kept downhill slopes in various difficulties. In night time are in operation 3 ski lifts with artificial lighting. There is a large fun park for snowboarding funs all over the season. For cross-country skiers are still well kept routes in Giant Mountain artery. You find all necessary services in the valley bellow Sněžka like ski lifts and tows, hotels, various types of accommodation, swimming pools, discos, restaurants in the centre or in slopes too, additional services not least.
